Thompson, Johnson Part of Tea Party Rally for Jobs
Senator Ron Johnson and Senate candidate Tommy Thompson are scheduled to attend a rally focusing on jobs that the Tea Party says is designed to get the undecided voter off the fence.
US Senator Ron Johnson and former Gov. Tommy Thompson will join members of the Racine Tea Party PAC on Oct. 27 for a rally organized to lure undecided voters.
According to a press release distributed by the group, the "Road to Recovery Rally" will focus on the need for jobs, rising energy prices, spending and budgeting for a strong defense.
"Our goal is to engage the faithful, while reaching out to those undecided voters by providing them facts and motivation to come down off of the fence," write event organizers Nancy Milholland and Lora Halberstadt.
In addition to Johnson and Thompson's appearances, retired US Navy SEAL Christopher Mark Heben, Rep. Robin Vos (R-Rochester) and conservative radio talk show host James T. Harris as the emcee. Republican National Committee chair Reince Priebus has also been invited.
The rally is set for 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the old Sam's Club building at 6200 Regency West Road. It is free and open to the public.
Here is the group's full press release:
America waited while President Obama, a Democrat Congress and Senate promised us to focus like a laser beam on the economy; yet instead pushed through the $1.93 trillion Healthcare Law on a partisan vote in the middle of a recession. 3.5 years later we are still asking - where are the jobs? A lower unemployment rate means nothing, when it’s the result of more job seekers walking away hopeless and therefore shrinking the size of the labor force.
Racine Tea Party PAC will be hosting the second Victory 2012 event – the Road to Recovery Rally (It’s About Jobs) on Saturday October 27th. We want to shine a spotlight on the truely important issues facing our state and nation today; such as gas/energy prices, lack of jobs, need for a strong defense and out of control spending. Our goal is to engage the faithful, while reaching out to those undecided voters by providing them facts and motivation to come down off of the fence.
The event will feature retired US Navy SEAL - Christopher Mark Heben, Governor - Tommy Thompson, Senator - Ron Johnson, Representative - Robin Vos, emcee Conservative Radio Talk Show Host - James T Harris and more. Invited guests include Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus and others in the works...

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of friends along with folks I've supported in the past. Just in time to rally the troops for the final push to oust the president, and install sanity.

Notice non-of the real heroes, the fireman, are going to be rallying there. Too busy getting injured over the fat slobs they help support. How about the WPPA< the cop thug organization. Too busy boycotting businesses than educating themselves on the roots of their job problems(liberalism) and where their meal ticket comes from.
