Need A Flu Shot?

Its that time again!! Flu season is approaching and we have the information to help make the process as painless as possible.

Flu shots for children only

First and Third Tuesdays 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Racine residents 18 years-old and younger $10,  Non-Residents - $15

Cash, credit and Medical Assistance/Forward Health Cards are accepted. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18.

Second Monday of the month 4 p.m. to 5:30pm

Children ages 18 and under only: one Vaccine - $10; two Vaccines - $15; three or more vaccines - $20

Will not bill private insurance, but Badgercare or Medicare are accept. Acceptable forms of payment: cash.

Aurora isn't sponsering any flu clinics, but their doctors are giving the vaccines.

Walk-ins accepted for anyone over 7 years of age

So... I see Wheaton talks about the kid having to be 10 or over... others say 7 or over... but the county and city seem to not indicate an issue with age. I'd hate to take off work and all to later find out that my daughter is too young... so, does anyone know if there is an issue with a 2 year old getting the shot? I have heard it is recommended for her age being that she is in day care and all.
