Mixers Bomb Threat Not Credible, Police Say

Police were called to Mixers Nightclub for a bomb threat, but all was well.

A bomb threat was found not credible, but maybe a new drink will get added to the menu instead?

Mount Pleasant Police were called to Mixers Nightclub, 6501 Washington Avenue, at 11:45 p.m. Saturday for a possible bomb on the premises.

Officers cleared the premises and did a thorough search. Police found nothing of interest that would indicate anyone was in danger.

MPPD allowed the club to re-open and customers were let back inside.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information can leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at (888) 636-9330, email: http://racine.crimestoppersweb.com, or text message: RACS to 274637 (CRIMES).

If the bomb threat really was "Not Credible", why did they bother to clear the place out and search the premises?

@Cow - good point. My fault. Police had to clear the premises to find out it wasn't credible.
