Mary L. Moore died at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. She was born in Rockford, IL, daughter of the late Joseph and Thelma Smith. In 1952 she married Jesse A. Moore, who died in 1955.

Mary was a graduate of UW-Parkside. She worked for Western Publishing for 20 years and Olan Mills for 10 years. She was actively involved at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church, and her pastimes included gardening, reading and crossword puzzles.

Services were held Feb. 14, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. Interment was private.
